About me
Aaron is an award-winning actor, singer, speaker, and advocate.
He’s appeared on screen in the Academy Award-winning films Everything Everywhere All At Once, This is Where I Leave You opposite Tina Fey, The Wolf of Wall Street as Margot Robbie’s boyfriend before Leo steals her away, Clint Eastwood’s J. Edgar, and Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War and End Game.
On television Aaron played Reverend Paul Thomas in FOX’s series “Filthy Rich”, and he has appeared on dozens of shows for all the major networks including Yellowstone, The Strain, Girl Meets World, The Blacklist, Blackish, The Good Wife and The Equalizer opposite Queen Latifah.
Mr. Lazar is a veteran of 11 Broadway shows, including Sting and John Logan’s The Last Ship, the revival of Stephen Sondheim’s A Little Night Music opp. Catherine Zeta Jones and Angela Lansbury, the first revival of Les Miserables (for which he received a Drama Desk Nom.) and Lincoln Center’s The Light in the Piazza (broadcast Live on PBS).
As a singer, Aaron has made guest artist appearances with many of the major orchestras around the country including: the New York Philharmonic, The Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, the Boston Pops, multiple appearances with the NY Pops at Carnegie Hall, the Jerusalem Symphony at Masada, and multiple appearances with the National Symphony Orchestra at The Kennedy Center.
Having been diagnosed with ALS in 2022, Aaron has been traveling the country with his inspiring and impactful speaking platform, THE IMPOSSIBLE DREAM, sharing his story of resilience and healing while raising awareness to help end the disease.
Lastly, Aaron’s debut album, Impossible Dream, featuring over 50 Broadway & music stars, is currently streaming on all platforms and has spent weeks at the top of the Billboard charts. A graduate of Duke University and The Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music - PLEASE WELCOME AARON LAZAR!
